day 17 – The Sound of Music, visiting the Von Trapp family in Salzburg
Abtenau, Austria > Salzburg, Austria Finally I got to live a life long dream and visit some of the locations from the sound of music the famous movie about the Von Trapp family during World War II, most of the scenes were filmed in Salzburg, so that was my destination for the day.

Day 11 – Luzern to Innsbruck via the Grimselpass
Luzern, Switzerland > Grimselpass, Switzerland > Innsbruck, Austria After an amazing day in Grindelwald I was excited to be heading to Innsbruck, I planned 4 nights there which meant I had 3 full days to explore the area.

Day 10 – Luzern to Grindelwald – Fighter Jets, Cows and views to die for
Steinerberg, Switzerland > Luzern, Switzerland > Brienzwiler, Switzerland > Interlaken, Switzerland > Grindelwald, Switzerland Next stop Steinerberg, Switzerland. I arrived fairly late in to Steinerberg, Steinerberg is on a lake about 40km east of Luzern, I picked the area for its central location
Day 9 – Strasbourg to Lucerne with yodeling in between
