My second day in WA I was covering the Weetbix Kids Try Series in Perth in the morning then I had the long drive to Busselton.
By 11:30am the job was done and I was on my way, I wanted to check out the Busselton Jetty first as I have a shoot there on Tuesday afternoon with Team Citroen Australia, not to mention I love the place :).
I then planned drove the 40km south to Canal Caves for sunset
I have been to Canal Caves a few years ago and really wanted to experience it again and this time take my time getting a sunset shot, I have said this to a number of people and that is this place is so peaceful and calming I have never experienced anything like it, a beautiful sunset, nobody else around and huge waves crashing against rocks just make for a perfect moment. It also gave me another opportunity to start using my Lee filters again.
Canal Caves is truly amazing for photography, even though I lucked out with the sunset, the clouds created an amazing mood to the images, i think I may visit this place again before I leave and walk a little further south.
On Monday the day I have been looking forward to the most, to finally visit the Margaret River region of WA, and well, lets just say it was a special one.
